We were in town for a wedding where guests were provided a list of hotels. Most of the hotels on this list were very expensive. We were traveling with our 16 y.o. twins, so we needed 2 rooms. The Miramar is not a fancy or posh hotel, but it was clean and the beds were comfortable. It is right along Cabrillo Hwy, but the sound of cars wasn't too loud. In fact, we slept with the window open.

Affordable, clean room, hot shower, air conditioned, internet, work van still intact, basic continental breakfast; What more can I ask?
Was working on a job on the coast nearby and we ended up being too tired to drive home. Since we had to come back the next day anyways, I figured we might as well find some place to stay the night. This was the most affordable option and I was not expecting much for the amount we paid, but it definitely did not disappoint.

Y'all did fine. I just think for a premium price the coffee selection could be better. But with the location being what it is (friggin' awesome), I reckon you can get away with it. That's the reason for the 3 stars on service.
Other than that, I recommend and will stay again next year for my annual pilgrimage to Half Moon Bay.

A very good hotel for the budget-minded. An excellent value for the price paid compared to other lodgings in the area. Our room was well kept and everything was in good working order. The bed linens and towels were of good quality and all of the amenities were thought of (iron, hair dryer, mini-fridge and microwave)--not all hotels in this price range offer all of these features. The front desk staff was very pleasant and friendly. I will definitely stay here again when my travels take me to Half Moon Bay.
